RUBEN AREVALO
Owner
Hi, I’m Ruben. I was born and raised in a small town outside of Guadalajara, MX. I come from a family of 10, five brothers and five sisters and the youngest of the ten. I’ve been married for 34 years and have two children. I have over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. I first started in the industry in 1987 as a trade laborer in Fairfax, Virginia. I moved to Texas in 1992. During this time, I learned all the necessary skills needed to provide quality workmanship. In 1996, I started my construction company here in Houston. Since then, I have successfully led my company to work on small and large-scale projects ranging from a couple hundred thousand to over a million dollars.
AMELIA AREVALO

Hi, I’m Amelia. I was born and raised in a small town outside of Guadalajara, MX. I too, come from a family of 10, five brothers and five sisters and the oldest of the ten. My husband, Ruben, and I have been married for 34 years. I oversee all financial transactions for K and C Specailties, LLC.
CINDY AREVALO
Vice President
Hi, I’m Cindy. I was born in Washington, D.C but raised the majority of my life here in Texas. While I am not a true native, I am a true Texan at heart. I grew up in Cypress and attended Cy-Fair schools. I graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas with a Business and Marketing degree.
ISAAC MENDOZA
Construction Manager/Logistics
Hi, I’m Isaac. I was born in California and raised here in Houston. I grew up the majority of my life in Cypress and then moved to Magnolia. I graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 2019 and was the previous President of MEDLIFE a non-profit organization for the Texas A&M Chapter. After college, I managed a small construction company for 2 years. I’m happy to be starting a new chapter with K and C Specialties, LLC as their Construction Manager.
JOSE GOMEZ
Project Manager
Hi, I’m Jose. I was born in Mexico and raised in Houston most of my life. I grew up in the city and attended schools in the Spring Branch area. I graduated from The University of Houston with a degree in Construction Management. I interned with Edi’s Construction where eventually I was hired. I worked there for a little over a year before starting with K and C Specialties as a Project Manager.
